Sober
Bigger problems on the horizon
from day to day life just isn't certain
and the pain seems never over
one last time for you to get it together
and I want to help
but I feel as though I have nothing left
and from the words you spoke
you told me in one sentence
what I already know
you just wish your only issue now
was to stay sober
As I wake from restless sleep
I remember your condition
I pray for your demons
and if nothing changes
just Lord let us have some closure
the past is no longer over me
but behind me
honestly I won't give up on you
and one day you and me will be free
cuz no matter how many times I have turned away
and things don't go as planned
my father you will always be
and now I wish like h*ll you only problem
was staying sober.....
