something missing
you stand up straight
and walk just right
and dress yourself
so smartly matched
you line things up
and print new forms
and cannot see
beneath the real
you race around
creating rules
and cannot see
there is no point
the spoken word
is not enough
it must be placed
upon your forms
what you see
all neat and nice
means more to you
then depth and heart
you cannot sense
beneath the words
and cannot deal
outside your sight
I watch you in
your perfect clothes
with perfect forms
so straight and neat
Joy Weare.
