His Passionate Kiss

As I prepare for our third date,
I wonder if this incredible, shy man shall ever kiss me.
Our lovely evening is marked by stolen glances
And soft, slow touches of my hand.
He gently wipes a bit of chocolate drizzled cheesecake
From my bottom lip, making my heart pound wildly.
As we slowly make our way back home,
I fumble for my keys, knowing I want to devour him,
But patiently waiting for his lead.
Standing awkwardly, facing each other,
our gaze suddenly locks.
Our lips have never been this close before.
I divert my eyes, but his strong hand gently
Restores our gaze.
A thin layer of perspiration covers my whole body,
Knowing that what I have been anticipating
Is imminent.
In an instant, I sense the moment and part my lips.
His kiss is like a thousand fireworks exploding at once.
As I struggle to maintain my stability,
I feel his strong arms supporting me.
With incredible love in our hearts,
We both silently vow to nurture our incredible connection
And spend the rest of our days
Locked in this powerful embrace.
