The Gift of SnowI'm snowed in!! I leap from my bed And peek through the blinds. I gasp at the beauty; Street lights shining their warm glow Over the pure white untouched blanket of snow, Causing ice crystals to sparkle like diamonds. I revert back to my schoolgirl days, Performing the "happy dance" in my bedroom. Arms flailing, legs kicking like the rockettes. This means only one thing; A day of hot chocolate and baking cookies.
