 The Unfairness Of Angels

dreamweavertheunfairnessofangels
To be human again

They say she never fell from the sky but arrived from another land
But I remember catching her in my hand
With a gentle caress I mended her wing
And saw her took flight, that night, one English spring
I watched with a keen and fatherly eye
Above the clouds, beyond the sky

The seasons went and the seasons did go
But for immortal Gods, time passes slow
And like a butterfly within a glass dome
I saw her fly from home to home
I saw her heart beat with love and pain
But my fallen Angel remained the same

Her wings are now are a shade of black
And she wears golden dragons Armour, front and back
She carries a shield and a sword
She Is now an angel no longer ignored
The rainbow in the sky is my big broad grin
Seeing her develop from that last English spring

Spring has long past now and winter is here
A time for festive fun and cheer
The wind told me my angel fears being alone
So I created Earth to be her loving home
Where either the moon or sun will always shine
Therefore immortalizing her smile till the end of time

I see her wings slowly recline as her feathers fall
And soon they will disappear, as she becomes mortal
Her angel wings will become her heart and soul
As the Earth's air take there toll
Freely she will walk these lands without anyone knowing
That inside herself, a new angel is growing
