This Classroom Called EarthSometimes I just want a break. Life's lessons come fast and furious, Without so much as a cleansing breath In between, Like a woman having labor pains. My reason for being here is obvious, But am I passing the earthly test? Am I using my short journey here wisely, Taking a metaphysical leap forward On my spiritual path? I don't always take the high road When life throws me a curve, Leaving me sorely disappointed, Squandering my precious chance to progress. I was lovingly hit by the cosmic two by four Through this realization: No matter what road I choose High road, low road, It makes no difference. I leap forward and learn through all my experiences. I delight in this knowledge And strive to rise to each challenge, No matter how difficult. I now joyfully give thanks that I signed up For this earthly class.
