 I looked the other way

Under the overcast skies of Londons Thames quay
You thought I looked the other way
But I've been down Old Street today
So listen to what I have to say
I read your sign 'Hungary and homeless'
'Afraid and hopeless'
I know £1 a day keeps the syringe at bay
But i know You think i looked the other way

I live the life I please
I don't walk by just to tease
But under the orange glow of London's lights
Amongst the busy weekend pub brawl fights
I still remember yesterday
But i never looked the other way.
