And He Cries, And They Cry…And they sit in the corner of the room, And cry till they can cry no more! Beaten, abused, tortured… Not knowing why, or what for? He hides in the corner of the darkened room, So alone inside is he… Fear and pain are all he has, Hurt and abuse is all he can see. He wonders what he's done, this child, To make his parents hate and abuse him so, Terrified of every waking day… Wanting his pain to go! But pain and fear are his life, And have been all his life-long day, So scared is he, pain is all he'll see, He wants out, but there is no way! He cowers in the corner of the darkened room, No light for him to see… Beaten down, he can not escape, In a prison, and pain is the life of he! Who will help him, this little boy? Can anyone save him from this pain? Or will he forever live in fear, And live with abuse, again and again! Can no-one hear his cries of pain? Is there anyone who he can tell? And release him from his saddened plight! Where he lives a life of hell…! Cry not little child, cry not, For one day your pain will cease… And therein will lay a life of bliss… When the day comes for your release! But let's hope his release is before his demise! And hope that a life of abuse will be no more! This poor little boy, who hides from the world, Is older than his years; for he's only four… Can he fight the fight until the day? That he will he see another year? And if he can survive that time, Will it be another year of pain and fear! It will if it's allowed to continue! If no-one will save them from this hell!
