Places of my heart
One corner black,
the other lit red,
one for the living,
one for the dead,
one for the present,
one for the past,
one that's forever,
the others won't last,
one side still open,
the other sewed shut,
a million wounds healed,
the others still cut,
put them together,
or keep them apart,
it never really matters,
with the places of my heart.
