Just A Friendship
Talking to you on the phone last night,
I was scared to death of what I had to say.
Nervous and afraid, I thought I was losing you,
Thought you didn't love or care for me.
You quickly told me that I was wrong.
You told me you did care for me cuz if you
Didn't, you wouldn't even call me. I felt
Better to hear those words come from you.
Even if you don't say "I love you", always
Know that I still love you no matter what.
You told me that we were just friends
But I wished it was something more.
You're always in my heart and you'll
Be there forever to stay. I know you
Don't hold back for no one, I'll try to do
The same. I see now this is just a friendship.
