Poems From The Heart

Brand New Puppy

My family dog has passed away, he was just like a son to me!  Its a shame he did not have a longer stay, but I guess it had to be.

His favorite toys are that constant reminder, that I'll not see him again in this life!  And so I transform into the puppy finder, to soften the hurt for the kids and wife.

Well I did not bother to ask, what kind of a pup he was, at seven weeks his paws were as big as a bear.  he eats enough food to feed three dogs
all I can say is beware!

He will never fill the void of my long lost friend, But he's as cute as he can be. But I will say this, I'm at my ropes end, as my puppy go's wee wee wee!

On the carpet, behind the chair, He does not miss a Que!  you put him outside and tell him to go, and he just stares back at you!

A brand new puppy, for the kids and spouse, you know just what I'm trying to say,

House Broken? or a broken house?  All one can do is pray!

(We all miss you Cow Cow)         God bless!
