Giving You Back
*ran into a someone from my past today, always makes me think about the stuff that happened and then I wake up and realize how great my life is now:)*
Oh why can't I be what you need?
a new improved version of me
but I'm nothing so good, no I'm nothing
just skin and bones
a lonely ghost burning down songs
of love and sorrow
I beg for just one more tomorrow.
where you hold me down, fold me in
deep in the heart of your sins
I want to breath you
so you will stay with me all my life
Here I'm in between darkness and light
Bleached and blinded by these nights
Where I'm tossing and tortured until dawn
in love but wondering what I am doing wrong
and I got you in my vision
but too quickly you are gone
and Las Vegas seems such a long way to travel
but the drugs says anything is possible
in this confused state I feel so strong
fast forward to 2006
but it's just a illusion
love can't be this thoughtless
and this situation is cruel for a reason
you are no longer my fight
so just stay away, even though I saw you today
go back where you came from
go back to the Vegas strip
Cuz this is my new life
this is my new home
and I finally have all I need
so do me a favor
and never try to use that charm
ever again on me
I know who I am
and it's better off without you....
