So dark that night......
he went on
groping for
his way,
weary with
despondent face,
fearful of a
frowning day.
Thou departed!
A thousand
and one stars
departed
with thee,
Nereid and nymphs
abandoned
the sea.
Thou departed
and flouted
my love
As tho'
in love
my heart
wasn't
