An Old Cottage Garden
Springtime in an old cottage garden
With everything growing apace
Crocus and daffodil waiting
To show off this years new face
Fruit trees are starting to blossom
Their young leaves afresh with new green
The apple the pear and the cherry
With vibrancy colour the scene
To sit in an old cottage garden
Alone with your favourite books
Relaxing amidst all of flowers
Bounded by beauty wherever one looks
