 Expressions of Heartfelt Wisdoms

"The Arrival"



The pains of a good-bye
                    A period of morning

Our paths now cross at different angles
                    Yet, one common goal exists

Solitude; enrichment; why do we blame?
                 Time to forgive, to make amends

Be kind to the memories, respect the past
                    Be thankful for being friends

Rejoin life, look up to the sky
          The sun shines without a shadow
                    The attachment has departed

Yesterday was yesterday
                    Tomorrow has yet to be started

Our small steps have become large
                    Our hearts now wide open

In awe of the future
                    A calm in our voices

Prepared to take a stand
                    And trust in our choices
