You sneak out your window,
you walk down the street,
you wait for your love,
where you usually meet,
an hour goes by,
and there's no one in sight,
you start to worry,
you're filled with fright,
where is he now,
where can he be,
everything's alright,
you say hopefully,
then a voice in your head,
tells you it's not ok,
but you try to ignore it,
tell it to go away,
you hear sirens in the distance,
a tear streams down your face,
you know what just happened,
you're alone in this place,
you grab at your chest,
and fall to the ground,
there's no one to help you,
there's no one around,
you point towards the sky,
and scream out loud,
how could you do this,
I hope that you're proud,
as you get up to leave,
a tear hits the dirt,
a voice right behind you says
baby don't hurt,
you quickly turn around,
and to your surprise,
there's an angel before you,
with hazel eyes,
now filled with shock,
you simply just say,
god knew I loved you,
he took you away,
he looks to the ground,
and lets out a sigh,
it's not his fault,
it was my time to die,
but with all you have,
you softly ask why,
he could have stopped it,
you look to the sky,
now fading away,
he hugs you so tight,
you try not to cry,
hold back with all your might,
baby I love you,
you've got to hold on,
you've got to move forward,
you've got to stay strong,
you back away,
as he blows you a kiss,
don't worry baby,
I'll help you through this!!
