"Angel Eyes" 
Love shines through the eyes of an Angel ... We try to do right, we strive to be better Sometimes we may end up being wrong Yet, we have to get back up We have to keep going -- going strong No one is perfect, we all have our flaws We learn to compromise, the art of give and take At times we merely need a friend who'll listen Yet, wisdoms are gained through our own foolish mistakes I can run from my feelings or hide from my emotions And I will surely lose I can stay and fight, and risk my pride But, this, is a choice that only I can choose A fear of getting close, afraid of being hurt Standing still, staring at lights, all alone Memories of the past to build upon tomorrow Just who am I, and where is my home ? Live in the present, be aware of the unknown Our choices are destiny, to guide our own fate Believe and trust in myself, having faith in God An unconditional love, is all it will take Life is precious, yet so hard to hold We can run and we can hide But we'll never know the truth Unless we've tried Visions of Heaven above Images in rainbow colored skies A lit tree, a life changed forever Love shines through an Angel's eyes 
There's a glow from within, gentle and sincere With arms spread wide, and heart sublime She touches her world with a genuine tenderness A soft caress, of the natural loving kind With open hands and ever clear heart She turns a sad child's tears into a smiling soul An inner beauty compared to no other A child who can't carry a note, sings like a pro A gift from above has entered my world Through clouded skies of pouring down rains When I see life through the eyes of this Angel All my losses somehow turn to gains She has helped me crawl forward And allowed me to reach deep within Games can be played on the mind Yet, emotions are felt, as a new life begins She fills my heart with laughter Helps push away my fears She brightens even my darkest hour To the point of bringing tears With a laugh so bold, I just have to smile A voice so delicate and sweet Her lips breathe life into my lungs Her kiss, makes my heart skip a beat You set my soul on fire My heart aglow Your inner beauty my desire You, were a blessing just to know ! I know a good thing when I see it I see it within your youth The soul can not be lied to It only feels the truth My Angel has departed Yet lives on forever within my heart She gives me strength and hope and reason To seek out my brand new start ...
