YOU MAY  BE SOMEONE'S TREASURE

By:  Samantha Fitzgerel

Somewhere at a rainbow's end,
someone is waiting to find a friend.
Searching for that pot of gold,
when simply all they need is a hand to hold.

They've been waiting so long for a smile,
for someone to go that extra mile.
They really think their time has passed,
to find true happiness that really lasts.

They've almost given up all hope,
and wonder how they'll ever cope.
As they look up to the heavens with a sigh,
the most beautiful colors catch their eye.

So they'll run toward the rainbow' promise,
with a heart full of hope and a handful of wishes.
Maybe they'll find a dream come true,
maybe, just maybe they'll finally find you.
