Peaceful Mind

~When things are beyond control~
~And your burdens to heavy to bare~
~Look to that quiet restful place~
~Inside us all and you will~
~ find peace and warmth within the~

~A Ponygirl Design~

Gazing into the bright sunset
More beautiful than it can be
I let my weary soul rest
I let my heart be calm.

Looking out over the sea
I think of the good times
I think of the happy times
I let my past float away.

Staring up at the stars
I wish my dreams to be true
I see the little dipper
I see the big dipper too.

Writing my name in the sand
I know that it won't stay
I know it will be erased
I know it will soon fade.

Writing all my troubles down
Onto a piece of paper,
I fold it up, light it up
And scatter it around.

I'm worry free
I'm pain free
I'm stress free
I'm depressed free.

Looking up to the Heavens
I talk to my dear Lord
I ask him to please let
Me have a peaceful mind.
