`Don`t cry `cause it`s over, smile `cause it happened`, I`m told,
But that`s no good to me, `cause inside I`m so cold.
It`s left me empty and hollow, feeling nothing but sorrow,
I now have an eternity to mourn, with no hope for tomorrow.
I open my eyes as each new day dawns – not another day,
Where I have to endure that awful loss – I go on my way.
I struggle thru`, blinking fast to keep my tears at bay,
But I can`t keep that lost feeling at bay – it has its own way.
