Her Fragrance Still Lingers

The scent of her perfume
Lingers in the night time air,
As he holds her picture close to his heart
And dreams of her golden hair.

God called her home
One late stormy night,
His heart still broken in two
As he is filled with such fright.

A drunk driver
Had taken her life,
Filled his soul
With sadness and strife.

Her fragrance still lingers
In the night time air,
His tears creep slowly down his face
She'll forever be in his prayers.
