Trouble In The LandListen people, we are in trouble, in our land. God has drawn the line of demarcation in the sand. What do we do, where do we go from here? We humble ourselves and pray, casting out all the fear. We humble ourselves under the Mighty Hand of God. In the time, that will come, we will not face Ichabod. He calls us to Himself that we may praise Him. He stays always near, as we see Him, through eyes, undim. Although, trouble will come, we need not fear. He is our God and He will stay to us, near. He fights the battle that is already won. Jesus is in charge, "It Is Finished," said His Son. We need only to keep our eyes on the Lord, our strength. Although, the sands may sink, His Arm has no length. We must praise Him and rejoice in Him this day. He will guide us moment by moment, in His Word we must stay. His perfect love in us, casts out all of our fear. As we humble ourselves, under His authority, He wipes away our tear. Debra McGee Trammell 02-22-06 Isaiah 10:22-23 22 For though your people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, A remnant of them will return; The destruction decreed shall overflow with righteousness. 23 For the Lord God of hosts Will make a determined end In the midst of all the land. Jeremiah 5:22 22 Do you not fear Me?' says the Lord. 'Will you not tremble at My presence, Who have placed the sand as the bound of the sea, By a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it? And though its waves toss to and fro, Yet they cannot prevail; Though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it. Isaiah 32:3, 15-20 NKJV 3 The eyes of those who see will not be dim, And the ears of those who hear will listen. 15 Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest. 16 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, And righteousness remain in the fruitful field. 17 The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. 18 My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places, 19 Though hail comes down on the forest, And the city is brought low in humiliation. 20 Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, Who send out freely the feet of the ox and the donkey.
