Dark Poetry From A Twisted Mind

Wish Denied

I asked for a woman…
But what I got was you.
I guess it would
Have been okay
If you paid your own way
Or bought your own car…
Or your own damned computer.

But as it always goes…
The same damned thing…
I end up paying
For everything.

I'm so tired of buying
The men in my life.
That's why I wanted
A woman.

And now I'm stuck with you.
At least for now.
Till I find a nice way
To tell you off.
