Offshore sailing amidst the sea
Finding remnants of a sunken ship
Sullen, swollen eyes turned misty
An empty quest beyond the reef
Many a times have fallen
Countless love begotten
Swiftly stripped and stolen
As fast as a roaring thunder
Embracing tomorrow's dreams
Awakened by sun's brightest streams
Like a newborn babe evolving
In a character gone stoic
Rising from the whims of the past
Intensed memories willing to surpass
Lurking shadow haunting those old days
Walking afar till it vanishes in the haze
A triumph between heart and mind
A simple quest to step behind
Reflections seen on a mirrored-self
Was its own shadow that haunted then

Postscript:
Blaming others seems futile for we're accountable of our own action. Self-pity, and living from the shadows of the past is not a solution either. We decide and we acted upon such decision. When it fails, charge it to experience and try to get out of the shadow that once followed you. Experience is what we called our mistakes. We can always move on...
