…When I Pass Over…I know that I will be punished! When I pass over, and die, But until that day I will always… Question, and question God; why! Will I be dammed because I question? And will God turn anger towards me? I don't know, maybe, but I have to say; On my day of reckoning, I hope to see; See what it is that causes such pain! And no matter what future that I'll see- And I don't care the outcome and I really hope; The answers will be shown to me! I can't comprehend, and will never understand… The reason that the children cry! Be it for whatever reason that is! I will forever question God; why! I watched the story of a baby boy, Whose face was made of a tumour! 100 times worse than John Merrick! The boy was tortured with rumour! He was only 4 years old! When the tumours took over his face! So then, why did God allow it? And why didn't the child's pain He chase! It isn't right, and it isn't fair!! Why children suffer such pain! There is no reason that I can see! Why it happens again and again! Beaten, abused, deformed! Tortured over and over again! Children! They are only children! So why does this God allow them this pain!! I am Catholic lass, and all my life; I have believed and always will! Except for the things I can not accept! Why the children suffer still!! So why the hell is it allowed? What's the reason for their pain! And more, why won't God stay the hand- That has them suffer over and over again! Because I will never understand! And I will question all of my life! And hope that one day I can comprehend! The reason for the hurt and pain and strife! It is not their fault they carry the sins! Of Adam and Eve; and then are blamed! Because they are babies! Just babies! Yet they carry the sin of those so shamed! I can't understand, can't comprehend, The reasons they hurt and pain - so why? Because God is supposed to be all compassionate! But He lets the children suffer and cry! He has the power to stop this hurt! He has the power to call a cease! He has the power to stay the hand! He has the power for release!
