light the candles and watch as they flicker
full of energy so bright on one cozy corner
scented with aroma in a warm conducive sight
burning passion from within...long into the night
feel in the air the sweet scent of this candle
as it begins to melt, precious moments to enkindle
on a soothing rainy day, in a stolen lover's cycle
two forbidden souls, in a little taste of heaven
lips longing to be kissed, gently as a morning mist
as I close my eyes as you plant a tiny kiss
candles burning slowly, feelings growing deep
a warm display of passion in this night's romantic lit
each day awaits for the coming of a knight
lighting up a candle to guide his path at night
from this one single light, one message is to send
forever I will wait and swear love till the end.
