Words are my sanctuary!Words are my sanctuary, my life, And yes, when I feel the wall's against my back, I let it go, by writing it out, To get me back on an even track! Words were once my lifeline, And I guess, if I'm honest with you, To a point, they will always be, You should see what they've got me through! And I know in myself this is fact, Without having the ability to write, I wouldn't be here this day, Wouldn't have gotten through every plight! Some paths I've walked of plenty, Have been almost the death of me, And wrecked my head on many a time, Because I'm only human you see! And though some think it's a doddle, You know, been there done that, it's a breeze! I'm afraid that is far from the truth, Some paths have almost put me on my knees! So I write it out, eke it out, Let all the pain and fear go! And trust me it works, try it! Let your mind and words just flow! And see how much better it feels, To not have weights burden you!
