~Glowing Light~
(Free Style)

All night I've been listening,
To the sounds of the rain as it falls,
And it has kept me awake all night,
Till dawn, when her glowing light did call.

The tick, tack, tick tack, of the clocks, went on,
Taking away the dark, as light removed the night.
There her shimmeringly glowed, rested, upon tenderly grass,
Making her look like the most beautiful sprite, into the light.

As light dispeled all the dark of the night,at last,
And the glow of the new day peeked thru my doorway.
I could hear bluebirds sing, outside, in impressive delight,
Skipping branches from trees, greeting happily a new day.

All night I listened to spring making her way,
And I am so glad she has come to visit today.
