I Only Say What I Feel...I only say what I feel you know, And it's not like I'm dictating at all, I just like to try and show that negativity; Is like banging your head on a brick wall! Cos if we bang our heads on a brick wall; Well, let's face it, the truth is this; We would end up with terrific pain! Unless, of course, we miss! But how hard is it to miss a brick wall? I would like to hazard a guess, And say, nope, we would smack into it! And holy wow, what a mess! Bloodied face, black and blue eyes; The result! Who'd want that? Not me! Cos I sure the hell wouldn't smack my face… …On a wall, oh what pain I'd see! So rather I would chill and relax; And take a breath of God's good air! And be surveyor of all I see; Because at the end of the day; I care! And that's the reason I write, I think; So that I can show the difference in life; And show that opposites are at times, no good; Because sometimes it causes strife! I only say what I feel you know, But we are all different this is true; So look to your heart, see what you see; For you can be positive too! So when you see that brick wall, For goodness sake, walk by! For as I say, smacking into a wall; Will only hurt you and cause you to cry. So judge me not on my words of prose; Just look to your heart and soul; Do what you have to do in life; To make that life good, and whole! Like me! Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
