The day is coming
we will be surrounded in a place
that appears very dark
We must remember
when the day that comes,
this is not a place to sit and park
Now is the time,
time to hide His word deep
within our heart
When the arrows
of the enemy fly
about our head we must start
Speaking forth
all His words, His word in us,
we plant now, today
His Spirit will lead,
guide and direct our steps
and show us the way
This will be a time
we must not take on any fear
or dread from the enemy that speaks
The Lord is our strength, our redeemer,
He will bring down
this enemy He defeats
We must trust and obey
Him and what He tells us to do,
in that moment in time
Lawlessness will run
more rampant, hate for another
will be more pronounced in the crime.
We must remember
we are not children of this present darkness
that will engulf the whole earth
We are children of His Light,
He came to set us free of this darkness
and gave us rebirth
This all will take place
over a period of a few years
that will soon arrive on the scene
Whether we go through this darkness,
or be removed, we must stay separate
from the unclean
Now is the time,
we must ask our self,
whom will it be, whom will we serve?
Before the trouble comes in
we must make up our mind now
or we may lose our nerve
God gives us His plan of action,
right now, if we will only listen
to Him and trust
In Him only, doing His will,
at that moment in time,
what we will do, is a must.
He will hide us in His shadow,
as the darkness comes in, to try
and overtake us that day
If we have eyes only for Him,
we may trip but not fall or be led down
a path, that is the wrong way.
He will never leave us,
He will hold us up by His mighty
righteous right hand,
As the enemy comes in,
he will make demands on us,
but we will take His stand
As we lift our voice
with thanksgiving and praise
right now, in this moment in time
This is how He will save us
again and again in those dark places
that becomes sublime.

Daniel 3:14, 15b-18, 21-22, 24-25, 28
14 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying to them,
"Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego,
that you do not serve my gods or worship the
gold image which I have set up?
15 ... you shall be cast immediately into the midst
of a burning fiery furnace. And who is
the god who will deliver you from my hands?"
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered
and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need
to answer you in this matter.
17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able
to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver
us from your hand, O king.
18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not
serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image
which you have set up."
21 Then these men were bound in their coats,
their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments,
and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore, because the king's command was urgent,
and the furnace exceedingly hot,
the flame of the fire killed those men
who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego.
24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished;
and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors,
"Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?"
They answered and said to the king, "True, O king."
25 "Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking
in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt,
and the form of the fourth is like the* Son of God."
28 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, "Blessed be the God
of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel*
and delivered His servants who trusted in Him,
and they have frustrated the king's word, and yielded
their bodies, that they should not serve
nor worship any god except their own God!
