If you could but a painter be
By touch of brush ingrave this scene
Carved eternally in men's eyes
Where angels in the sky have been
*^^**^^**^^**^^**^^**^^**^^**^^*
A lovely panoramic sky unfold
Hands immortal grip thy soul
At this celestial burst of gold
A whisper in your ear "Behold!"
*^^**^^**^^**^^**^^**^^**^^**^^*
Horizon's rapture shared with us
By a metamorphosis of sky
God's precious gifts made manifold
All glory to our King on high
*^^**^^**^^**^^**^^**^^**^^**^^*
How may we then behold these signs
And not believe that He reside
In every thought, within our souls
Our Savior cares and do provide
