Along the paths of life's short roads
I've stumbled now and then
Twisted turns on short cut lanes
Lead me up dead ends

Youth's proud grip pulled me along
On many wild goose chases
A cross road slowed my eager steps
Strange paths to different places

I stood a while and took a stand
Looked back on trails I roamed
With spirit low I turned around
Searched for lost paths home
.·:*¨¨*:·
Lessons learnt along the way
Have made me strong and brave
I face tomorrow's rising sun
With peace ready for my grave
