THERE'S A ROOM IN HIS HEART

There behind that closed, locked, door
There's a room where he will store
The memories of me
As I lie there in that darkness
Where he has put me
He won't even come in
Open a curtain
To let a little warm sun in
'Cause right now he can't let the ice melt
Going to stay cold to what he once felt
When I was more than a memory
Locked in a room in his heart
Lost the key
For that key hole
Here needing the warm of his sun
To melt the sadness in this soul.
