Bless the day she came to love me, when she stole my heart away
She brought to me a bit of sunshine as she settled down to stay
A proud young lady is my kitty, a beauty queen, I must say
A furry, silent ball of comfort, by my side she loves to lay

On my person she walks over and my commands she ne'er obey
But with her head she rubs me gently, all her love she then display
My home is filled with joy and laughter as I watch her run and play
With eyes that speak a volumn, she catch the sun on my window bay

Loyal friend she does not leave me, as we share our every day
Then at night she creeps beside me, a picture perfect she portray
I thank God for His sweet kindness, in my cat, His love convey
Bless our furry pals who love us, in everyway, I can say!

    Note:
As I am a semi shut-in, I feel very lonely
all the time. My kitty "Midnight" came as a
gift from my hubby who heard me longing for
a pet. She is now 5 yr.old.
