On a cold December morn
The angels gathered close around
A special task was theirs to do
And so they came without a sound

A lovely lady waited there
Amid her loved ones held so dear
'Twas her honor to be called
She fell asleep without a care

With joyous songs they took her hand
And led her on the merry way

Her eye were filled with heaven's light
As old friend's faces she did see
But someone special whispered close
"At last my dear you've come with me!"

And so they walk now hand in hand
In gardens green so very nice
Eternal love surrounds them both
Together forever in Paradise
