May I join this happy gathering
At your table's candle light
Praising joyously our Father
As we worship Him tonight

Dark the hour of this evening
But our hearts are all aglow
We join hands as faithful servants
Strong in Him our faith doth grow

Favorite verses come a-tumbling
From our lips old scripture flow
Songs of glory break the silence
Of the chilly fallen snow

Here we linger all together
As the flickering candle melt
God has sent His son to save us
In our lives His love is felt
