We started out as the best of friends
you told me your young life story
and in exchange I trusted you

We were two lost kids

almost every day
I can remember the first time

you acted all shy,
but I could see from the look in your
eye that you love me too.
You promise to take me away
from my troubles
so that no one would ever hurt me again
you treated me like a queen at such
and young age
You were all I had
and deep down I truly believe
God sent you my way
He took two lonely abandon hearts
and combine them together and made
them whole
You walked with me through it all
you were always there when I took
a fall.
You know I can even remember
our very first kiss
it replenished my soul
melted my heart
captivated my mind,
and gave me the smile of
