LOSSES AND GAINS

You lose some
You win too
The rain may come
Then the sun shines on you

Don't be afraid
Or stay alone
The tears will fade
As someone will phone

They will chase you
Pursue you rightly
So don't be blue
Just crying nightly

It's going to be life
Maybe even want to stay
Someone will want me for a wife
For more than just a night and day

You men out there
Who can't decide
If you can care
Enough to take me for the long ride

You're going to miss me
The love I have in this heart
Not going to kiss me
While all this time you want to be apart

Commitment's what it takes
A ring that says I am taken
No woman will ease your aches
When she feels forthrightly forsaken

So you wishy washy guys
Think you can make me bawl
Tears may flow from my eyes
You won't be there to see them fall

When I've made an ocean
Crying over you and your stubbornness
Remember you once had all of my devotion
Until you thought I was too much of a fuss

To meet in person
To travel those miles
To be a nursing
Me with a thousand of your smiles

I want the comfort zone
I want your time
I want your voice on my phone
Until all we do is rhyme...
