Peter and Wendy
In Mermaid Lagoon
On a starlit night,
Peter and Wendy
Are a lovely sight
As they slowly dance
To the coo of doves-
Gingerly testing
The throes of young love.
A beautiful moon
Spotlights their romance;
Enlisting two hearts
To dare take a chance
That this planted seed
Can bloom to full love-
Imbuing their lives
With scents of first love.
Thus as they dance in
The mermaid lagoon;
Tenderly. Shyly.
Beneath a full moon-
The angels and stars
Peek in from above-
Raining down kisses
On budding young love.
