One Life's Pilgrimage

NIGHT AND DAY by Sonja

Night and day, work and play;
so much to do, no time for you.
Transcend the thorns,
don't lock horns
with the Godless on their way
to meet their Eternal Destruction.
Reaping their earned reduction
of remorseless Pride.

Oh Foolish Children never pining to walk on the Godly Path.
Always preferring to run to materialistic gardens
to plant the seeds of a devilish demise.
Never listening or learning lessons taught by the wise.

Seek more gold so that you can find
more unnecessary fetters that bind
your wrong and contrary excuses
to lose your long-lost mind.

I wish He could just stick out His Divine foot
and trip you as you blindly run by,
dashing you to the ground.

Then, while your out cold,
He'd rush to your aid and cart you away
with His ambulance of Harmony and Love,
to His Healing Hospital of Wisdom
on His island of Peace where you could stay
for many days until you were healed.

Reconciled from your need
to endlessly run thoughtlessly wild,
driven by the wounds
and scars of the wicked of this  world.

Oh, how He loves you, child!
Please slow it down.

Take some time to learn the Truth in your youth,
long before it's too late,
long before you crash and burn.

I look at you, so beautiful,
and my heart overflows with loving concern.
