Stains
The tears on my face,
have stained up my youth.
Broken and battered,
just waiting for truth .
Forsaken I fall,
abandoned I lie.
Painfully living,
yet, too scared to die.
Searching for answers,
I cannot find.
I'm leaving my standards,
too far back behind.
Afraid of the answers,
I'm dying to know.
Been crying on the inside,
don't want it to show.
For inside this mirror,
there's no exception.
I'll just have to hide,
within my own reflection.
