Hope over Sin
We have hope for tomorrow,
Especially when in sorrow;
Since it is hope we look for,
In opening up another door.
Life continues to travel fast,
Too spry for afflictions to last;
Being the experience in life,
In coping with toils and strife.
Maybe you think it is a crime,
When you have a tough time;
But maybe actually it is God,
Showing how we are flawed.
Through each and every day,
Our emotions get in your way;
As temptations lure your heart,
From the righteous path depart.
But God has given us a means,
As the Holy Spirit intervenes;
For cleansing us from the sin,
Allowing us to once again begin.
