Black Room

Black Room

You are entering the black room
all draped in doom
you can try and be happy
but in this space
you are overcome with gloom
this is my own torture
my bitter cloaked asylum
and life fades out
you seem relived
but you are not welcome

Look past my eyes
the room is shrinking
don't touch the battery
the acid is leaking
my mind has left
toes pointing upwards
all unrest wraps my feet
they took away my soul
it's name is....obsolete

the black room awaits
with a big fluffy pillow
a crooked thought was all it took
to bring my will to zero
and all the doors I thought I would find
are slammed shut
no sane thought
they all left my mind

there is only way to leave my black room
to put these actions all on red
when I override fear
then the black room becomes dead....
