You Are All I Have
I want what you did to be so untrue
and it feels like I am wasting reason
it feels like I can't be without you
I should walk away, run without abandon
but I can't just leave
you are no stranger
and I want to save the impossible
despite the complications
in all my life I have never had patience
but it's just this simple
you are all I have
The anger swells in my guts
and I won't feel these slices and cuts
I want so much to open your eyes
because I want so badly
for you to truly see mine
and despite all your lies
I keep believing your soul is better
so constantly I find myself with you
in all this burning fire
so searching for that lost key
out of this dark room
I just can't leave you here
can't you see?
you are all I have
so give me some hope
so show me a sign
a kiss won't make it all better
but it's nice you tried
this bond like elastic
always brings me back
because no matter who comes
no matter who leaves in my life
