The Photo Album

The photo album holds memories
Of when I was young,
Looking through pictures of the past
I hold them dear, each and every one.

Pictures of my brothers
My grandparents too,
So many treasured memories
They hold such a value.

I wouldn't have been here
If it wasn't for mom and dad,
I could have been in Heaven right now
They would have missed me just a tad.

There were complications
Had fluid on the back of my brain,
They're hearts were blessed by a miracle
On that cold December day.

The photo album
Holds such memories dear,
I will forever treasure it
To my heart, I keep it near.
