A Bunch of Babes

"Oh you just don't trust me, mom."
"Dad, this is 2006 not 1826."
"You're not always going to be with me."
"Oh, you need to loosen up."

We are just a bunch of babes,
Not knowing where we're going,
Not knowing what we're doing,
Not knowing the long-term results of our actions,

Not knowing who we are, Not knowing what we're here for,
Not knowing who to trust, Not knowing who to turn to ---

We just don't know, We JUST don't know ---
Yes, our intentions are good, VERY good,
But our eyes are like the trip from
Jacksonville to San Diego,

And our souls are like a vase of glass,

We're just a bunch of babes, just a bunch of babes
In dire need of a firm hand, a loving hand ---
Once in for all!
