You reach out, yet aren't demanding
In search of the wisdoms of the wise
You accept people for what they say.
Their intentions are genuine and true
Their concerns, honest and real
They stand behind and cry along with you
But, do they really know how you feel?
The loss of a loved one is pure pain
You grieve and mourn, feel with all your heart
The memories linger, their photographs preserved with time
When you lose someone close, you know their soul is set free.
With the ending of intimacy, you simply go insane
A state of actuality, left lost and torn apart
Reminded of the dreams and visions, the memories frozen in time
