1:30 P.M. after hiking six miles of uncivilized beach

9:00 a.m. Nursing home Journies.

All the dinosaurs came and got Barney

And so we bond.

On finding the gold.

The gold lies in the gleam,
of that tear in your eye,
when you are overwhelmed by
all of God's glory found at
the ends of his rainbows.

It lies also in the crowns
we earn with each good deed
and dedicated acts of love
performed here on earth.

These crowns await those
who will inherit the kingdom
of God's promised lands.
The true gold lies beyond this life.

I have chased many rainbows,
and dodged the thunder and lightning
only to find that the gold here
is not what matters,
it is the 24 care filled journey
that is priceless to all.
