I have learned a valuable lesson
Don't listen to your heart's suggestion
Don't cling on to something that can never be present
Don't mistake another's lust for love no matter how pleasant
Don't sit at home waiting on a call
Most importantly don't let yourself fall
Don't waste your wishes on visions of what will never be
Don't cloud your perceptions just clearly see
I know you and I are not meant to be together
Please just remember you have a special place in my heart and in my time forever
