HEY MEN

Too bad for you guys out there
That didn't care or want to share
The love I told you that I needed
I've screamed and cried and begged and pleaded

It did harm to me and my soul
That you all only wanted my rock and roll
None of you wanted to help me really
Now someone does, who's hot, not chilly

When it comes to living with me
Then it comes to giving freely
All the man stuff that I desire
Too bad, hey men, you've lost my fire

Can't light it up for you again
Some of you have a wife, some a friend
Well, go to them and state your case
Because you've all lost by putting me in second place

When I deserved to be first in a man's life
I am important enough to act as a man's wife
Here tender hearted poet girl
Is only going to rock the world

Of him, that man, who will see I am the best
When he's there for me, not just my guest
That I give back threefold what is received
When he doesn't come to roll up on me then quickly leave

Hey men, you had the chance
You took my love then away you'd dance
Off to her and her and her
Well now I'm gone, you're as you were

Without me
Now I'm not free
So when you see me, walk on by
Hey men, you had the chance but now this guy

Is moving in with me
Is working on just two not three
So it's your loss
I've paid the cost

And I will pay no more
You cannot come now to my door
Because it's his too
He's going to love me better than any of you

I'm delighted
No longer slighted
By those who couldn't give away
Their freedom for the girl who'll play

Any game you wanted to do
No, hey men, not none of you
Were kind enough to share my space
Hey men, by one, you're all replaced.
